children with ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder).
ADHD is a medical condition that can cause significant disruption to children's lives and to the lives of those around them, both at home and at school. It can lead to underachievement at school, and can result in problems in later life such as antisocial behaviour, delinquency and drug abuse.
Click on the links to find out more about ADHD and how you and the school can help affected children. You might also like to take a look at the sections of the website for parents and teenagers.
